I’m Me’Elle, and this is my very first year in Pre-K and my first time ever participating in the Steps for Students fundraiser! I’m so excited to be part of something so special and to start making a name for myself with the help of my amazing support system.
We’re getting a late start due to some unforeseen circumstances, but my family and I truly believe that with the right encouragement and love behind me, there is nothing I can’t do. Every step I take is a big one, and your support means the world to me as I begin my school journey.
Steps for Students is an annual event that benefits 55 Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. For more than 17 years, this incredible event has brought families together for a Sunrise Mass, a 5K race, and a fun celebration in the Catholic School Village. In 2022 alone, over $900,000 was raised to support the unique needs of Catholic schools like mine.
By supporting my fundraiser, you’re not only cheering me on during my first year of school; you’re also helping strengthen my school community and ensure students like me continue to learn, grow, and thrive.
