School Pick Up

Catholic School Village Traffic Control & Load In

Volunteers will unload cars, deliver items to the Catholic School Village, help direct traffic to the loading zone, and assist in other areas as needed. Volunteers should be able to lift up to 10 lbs., be able to work as a team, stand for long periods, and walk for short distances.

Volunteers will cheer runners on as they cross the Finish Line, while hyping the crowd and keeping excitement levels high. In this position, volunteers need to be comfortable with standing the whole shift and being social.

In this position, volunteers will help keep the Finish Line clear of congestion as people leave the Finish Line area. They will direct finishers to the water station and back towards the Catholic School Village, where the post-race party will take place. Volunteers will need to be comfortable standing the entire shift and be comfortable telling people to keep moving. A perfect position for someone who wishes to interact with the crowd!

They can be assigned to a wide variety of positions that will be assigned to them on the day of the event when they check in. This position requires strong people skills, some standing, some lifting, some sitting, some walking, and the ability to be flexible.
