Hello! My name is Damien Guzman, and I’m a 6th grader at St. Jerome Catholic School in Houston, Texas. I love playing soccer and basketball with my friends, and I’m especially passionate about science—it’s my favorite subject! This year, I’ve set a personal goal to raise $500 to support my school and help strengthen the education that inspires me every day. Your encouragement and support will make a big difference, and I’m excited to take these steps toward reaching my goal.

Steps for Students is an annual event benefiting the 55 Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Over the last 17 years, this exciting day of family fun has brought together our Catholic community for a Sunrise Mass, sanctioned 5K race and a post-race party in the Catholic School Village. In 2022, over $900,000 was raised to fund the unique needs of each of our Catholic schools.
