St. Ambrose Catholic School and the Steps for Students Road Crew salute Blazek Skucius who joined the St. Ambrose “Get Fit” Boot Camp, which met at 5 a.m., to prepare himself for the 2011 Steps for Students 5K Run/Walk. Blazek placed well in the ‘14 and Under’ age category and since that race was invited to join the Houston Track Star team, a member of the AAU(Amateur Athletic Union). In August, Blazek attended his first AAU Junior Olympics and took 2nd place in his heat and came in 23rd overall in the nation! The Road Crew says, “Way to Run lil’ dude– Great job!”
