Race Information

The Steps for Students 5K Committee thanks all volunteers, participants, sponsors & registrants who supported the 7th Annual Steps for Students.  The spirit of the race truly shone through in the rallying of our Catholic school communities.  Although the race was cancelled due to hazardous weather conditions,  the registration fees and pledges received designated to the schools will be distributed to the schools.  The registration fees and pledges sent by those who did not choose a school team will continue to benefit the Archdiocesan Tuition Assistance Program.  As all permits and sanctioning and city approval were date specific, we will not be rescheduling the race this year. 

The decision to cancel the race was not made lightly, but was made to ensure the safety of all our participants.  We THANK YOU ALL for your support of Steps for Students and we look forward to seeing you next year!

IF YOU NEED TO PICK UP YOUR PACKET & T-SHIRT: 

Packets and T-shirts are available for pick up from the Chancery downtown (1700 San Jacinto, 77002)  from Monday- Friday (Feb 20-24th from 9 am- 3pm).  If you are registered with a school team, please check with your school before coming to pick up your packet to make sure they have not picked up for you.
